Porcelain Veneers
Porcelain veneers are thin ceramic laminates that are bonded to the front of a tooth. Porcelain veneers can be placed over the front of teeth that appear too short, narrow, wide or crooked, that are discolored or chipped, have spaces, or may not be as cosmetically attractive as you desire. Porcelain veneers can prove to be the perfect solution in many cases. We pay special attention to your surrounding and opposing teeth and design each veneer to complement your smile while still maintaining proper function.
What To Expect
The procedure begins with local anesthetic and some preparation of the tooth. Once the tooth is prepared, we will make a detailed and accurate impression. This impression is sent to our lab where your new restoration will be fabricated. While the veneers are being fabricated, a temporary restoration that will resemble your natural tooth is placed.
During your second visit we will proceed with the placement of your final restoration. The veneers are fitted onto the teeth and bonded into place, leaving you with a beautifully restored smile.
